How is a transaction via CIPS different from one via SWIFT?

Traditional SWIFT-based yuan transfers often require intermediate banks and may take 1–3 days. With CIPS, yuan transactions are processed more rapidly and at lower cost, arriving in the recipient’s account in a much shorter time.
